Digital Audio Bootcamp for Musicians

This one-day bootcamp is designed to demystify digital audio for musicians. The course includes instruction on the basic components of a computer-based

Students will also receive instruction on digital audio fundamentals, leading to a discussion about sample rates, bit depths and dither.  Students will be instructed on when and why to choose specific session parameters for their recordings.  The course will expose students to basic DAW signal routing and cabling, including a detailed look at an audio interface (and all of its buttons, knobs, and ports).

The course is highly recommended for students who are new to the world of
digital audio, or who have never had any formal instruction on the topic.  It is
also recommended for students who plan on enrolling in Pro Tools training.
